University of Pennsylvania in cooperation with the Redevelopment Authority of Philadelphia One Percent for Art Philadelphia, PA
Plateau was located at the edge of the University campus, a border between university life and that of the surrounding community. It was a network of interlocking pavilions, tables, and seating that extended down the city block , and was bracketed by various species of plantings to provide a more intimate social space for the community of students, workers, and residents.
